IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LEARN TO SWIM CUSTOMERS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LEARN TO SWIM CUSTOMERS

We are very excited to welcome you to the BlueFit Swimming family!

Starting Monday, July 1st, the Mount Annan facility will transition from YMCA to BlueFit. All YMCA learn-to-swim enrollments will transfer to BlueFit Swimming.

With this change, students will notice new signage and uniforms, but class times will stay the same.

BlueFit Swimming is an industry-leading learn-to-swim program that operates more than 40 swim schools across Australia. Our program builds swimming skills and confidence through structured levels with 8-10 skills each. Students move up levels once they master all skills in their current level.

You might see some different skills in BlueFit levels compared to YMCA. During the first two weeks, we will observe lessons to ensure proper level placement. If you have any concerns, please speak with our team on the pool deck.

Please note that there is nothing for you to do to continue your enrolment. Your child’s level name and lesson structure may change slightly to align with the BlueFit Swimming program. There may also be changes to their swimming lane and teacher. We are working closely with the team to limit the amount of changes required.

Changes you can expect:

More Make-Up Lessons: Students will now have 12 make-up lessons per year, previously mount annan families only had six make-up lessons per year.

New Discount Structure: BlueFit Swimming offers a generous multi-lesson and multi-student discount. This will automatically take effect after the next debit for those eligible customers. Click here to view more information about our discount.

Smaller Class Sizes: The BlueFit Swimming program runs on smaller class sizes. We’ll be working with the team on-site to add more teachers to the program so we can reduce class ratios where appropriate.

New BlueFit Swimming Cards: Students will receive their BlueFit Swimming Cards within the first few lessons following the management transition. However, feel free to bring your current card in when attending your lesson.

Scan in at Reception: Swim School students will now scan in at reception before their lesson. This new process replaces the use of turnstile gates to ensure a more personalised experience for everyone.

Colourful Tokens: When students scan in for their lessons, they will receive a special coloured token. Once inside the facility, students will see coloured buckets and whichever token they were given will tell them which lane they will swim in. Many of our students look forward to collecting their token each week, which becomes a fun and engaging routine!

There may be some teacher and lane changes to accommodate the learning outcomes of the program. Please reach out to the team on deck if you have any questions regarding your lesson.

Squad Information
You will notice some small changes to the squad program, like the name. However, the same coaching staff will continue to provide your child’s training sessions. All sessions and the current timetable remain unchanged.

Parent Portal Access
The BlueFit Swimming parent portal will be accessible from Monday 1st July. We’ll provide a separate email to families once portal access is established.
